Early Career and Accomplishments

Sunita Williams is a renowned NASA astronaut who has made significant contributions to space exploration. She was selected by NASA in 1998 and has since completed two space missions: Expeditions 14 and 15.

During her time in space, Williams has conducted seven spacewalks totaling over 50 hours, making her one of the most experienced female spacewalkers.
