Nintendo Unveils Hyrule Edition During Direct Show
A new Zelda-themed Switch Lite is on the way, arriving on September 26, the same day as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The Hyrule Edition Switch Lite features a gold casing adorned with the iconic Triforce logo and Hyrule crest. It also comes with a 12-month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online.
The Hyrule Edition Switch Lite was unveiled during Nintendo's Direct show on June 18. The console was shown briefly at the end of the presentation, giving fans a glimpse of its sleek design.
This is not the first time Nintendo has released a Zelda-themed Switch console. In 2017, the company released a special edition Switch bundle that included a Switch console, a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and a Sheikah Slate carrying case.
